To a child, mother's are angels....who fill this life with song...for, as you know, an angel can never do a wrong...to a child,mother's are treasures...of a priceless worth...and this fact is certain....throughout all the earth...a child cling's to it's mother...as birds cling to a tree....this is true and will be so....for all eternity....father's are loved but mother's are....the port in every storm...so sincere and tender...understanding and warm...To a child, mother's are angels...and this one thing I know. Children harbor truest thoughts...God has deemed this so.

I am a pack rat..Have always loved poetry..and have tried several times...as you can see..Have many more..journals full..maybe I will look for them..however it does make me feel funny...they are so old and cornie..as Kenny said things have changed today..I am also amazed that you catch me so fast..I barely published that one sweetie G-Ma :O)

tDMg: well how very sweet..So you are in Calif. ..I am in Washington..Have two of my children in Calif. It is also raining here my dear and I have a nice fire in the fireplace so is cozy for me...G-Ma :O)
When you click on an RSS feed it adds a little tab to the browser which tells you when someone you have "RSS'D" makes a hub. You can add one RSS per person if you like, its up to you. Its basically an interactive bookmark.

ok so not only am i reading great hubs here, i'malso learning abt rss which has also been givin me headaches as to what it's abt. hehe thks thooghun and g-ma. and yes g-ma this is really good. def feel that way abt my mom though you could say she's more of a spitfire. hehehe hope my child feels tht way abt me in the near future too.

I won't sugar although I do have quite a story of my life. Wouldn't want to shock such a sweet gentle man as you..there are two sides I think to most people..and when you get to my age you will see what I mean. I am still who I am..just been through a lot in my time...Nothing I am ashamed of though..well not exactly....he he ha ha :O) G-Ma

Hi, well said. I live with my mom and she is my stronghold. Because I have Lupus I cannot live alone. My mom is like a fiber I'm weaved to. As long as she is here I am held up...
Did you keep a journal in the convent? I bet that would be an interesting read.
sciantel..how wonderful of you to recognize the value of your mom as she certainly does you. There is nothing in this world a mom won't do for her children..even if they don't think so..Sorry to hear you have Lupus but you seem to be handling it well My prayers will now include you and your mom my Dear..G-Ma :O)
Stacie my love..I did not keep a journal but wrote many poems to try to express my feelings. At night when we were to be in bed and in totall silence I would go to the Lavatory and sit in a stall to write my poems. Naughty Nun. Believe me my head is full of memories though..Kenny has already suggested I do a story about this..But am not a story writer. I sure can babble on here though huh? love you sweetie...G-Ma :O)

I was raised by my grandparents and definetly agree that my grandma was an angel, she was also my hero!

Raised by a single mother, I cant help but agree.
There is an all enveloping sense of comfort with mothers. The one truth in your life if you will. You know that you can count on her love despite anything that might come between you. Beautifully written and well delivered!
I'm also impressed you kept the poemwith you for so long!
