Cris A inspired of Course :O)
An open window can set me free
so I can be what I want to be
I can see clearly as I gaze ...
all the Pains of yesterday
Sometimes covered by a curtain
Making things a bit un-certain
Ragged edges of a torn heart
A Love has left ...for a new start
Sometimes Blinded to what Life brings
but glimpse through the cracks
of positive things
Also blinded from the Light the Light of God
and all His might...
Life can sometimes leave rough
Raw torn edges to your soul
But character that is only you
Once your heart is steadfast and true
I think of how friends come and go
They affect our life's and fill our hearts
Occasionally lost on life's rugged road
Always looking for that Goldentoad
I see through the clouds of white
A toad if kissed becomes my night
Wishes and dreams that do come true
Whilst the Angels Loveingly watch over you
The Cris cross of the curtains blow
and remind me of a flowing soul
So kind, so true so very smart
He has tangled himself within my heart
Shades of darkness appear at times
But still there is a light that shines
A light that gives you strength and hope
To love and care and even cope.
Sometimes the storm seems very stronge
Of shattered dreams and broken songs
But the window is always open if not nailed
Off into the Blue she sailed.

What can I say? The poem speaks of many things, sad things, hopeful things, things about love and life. A wonderful poem and it has made me wistful but in a good way.
