Orange Festival in France
65I found these photo's and wanted to share them...seems there are many ways to be creative... In the south of France they actually grow citrus and as you will see they are very creative...from the "Festival Citrusov" but somewhere they have claimed it is in the Netherlands...but the Netherlands is flat and there are no mountains... it is mostly reclaimed land from the sea, meaning it is below sea level...enjoy :O) G-Ma

Very Creative-
I'd love to have this festival in Orange, CA. Does anyone know of a committee member I could hook up with? Plus I think I could get the fruit donated to recycling for mulch. Thanks
Nice, artistic displays (no pun intended--I Menton a direct way:-) I agree that it's hard NOT to think of where the citrus is going after the event (hopefully it gets eaten!)

Very cool photos! I love France; it's my addiction. I try to go every year to Paris; this year we are actually going to do a bit of traveling in the south for a few days.
PLEASE don't be impressed! I rent an apartment in the Latin Quarter, (student quarter) certainly not the Right Bank where we go to window shop in the high fashion couture shops but not to buy! I'm not into 5 star restaurants; we eat reasonably in the cafes when we're out; pack picnics and cook in when we're in for the evening.
I just love to live there as a Parisian for a few weeks. (Not a wealthy Parisian, more like a typical Parisian.) It is a very different way of living.
Thank you for the photos; I'll have to look into when the festival takes place.
